American rock band The Cab has successfully returned to Manila for a one-night-only concert at the New Frontier Theater last December 13. The said performance was their first in Manila after thirteen years following their last appearance through a series of mall shows performing in various small crowds around the Metro back in 2012- this time the experience was bigger and better!
The sold out show was packed with long-time and new fans of the band who shared their excitement over the nostalgic setlist which featured songs off the band's previous albums "Whisper War" and "Symphony Soldier".
"You guys are the f--- best," shares Alexander De Leon after a performance as he hears loud roars from the crowd, singing their lyrics back at them. The band also shares that the Filipino crowd has always been there for them and that they absolutely love performing in the country.
In one engaging segment of the show, the crowd demanded to hear "Intoxicated," a song that is not originally on the band's setlist and the band happily gave Manila an acapella performance and promises that fans can expect to hear it in full experience as they go back next year.
The Cab's concert in Manila featured hit songs "Bad," "La La," "Vegas Skies," "Angel With a Shotgun," "Endlessly," to name a few. The band also performed new songs including "Stay This Way Forever," and "Every Little Lie".
