The drag queen arrived yesterday afternoon, August 28th, just in time for a sit down with the press to promote her upcoming show "A Night With Alaska", happening August 29th at the Samsung Hall. The queen arrived in a leopard printed top, as she is a firm-believer that "everything must be leopart print", a long black skirt, glasses, and her signature hairdo
.
Alaska shared that she is excited for people to see her show, which includes performances as well as witty banters that will surely make her fans enjoy the night and laugh out loud. When asked about her songwriting, the drag queen shared that she usually writes about songs about her daily experiences in life. This, she thinks is relatable to her listeners.
She is definitely one of the fan favorites from RPDR as she is currently being heard on her own podcast called #RaceChasers, wherein she talks about her favorite TV show RPDR with Willam. She mentioned that she doesn't think she'll be stopping this podcast soon because of its success.
During the laid back time with the press, she was also asked about the term "ghosting", and hilariously shared that she has indeed been ghosted- as many times as she has also ghosted people in her life. She also added that a guy is already "canceled" if he doesn't like ARTPOP by Lady Gaga, who the drag queen looks up to very much. She has also been called a lookalike of the pop star many times, and even Gaga approves.
Her energy alone can lift up a crowd and we're sure Manila will have a great time with Alaska, as always. Tonight, she'll be meeting her Filipino fans and will be performing some of her hits at the SM Aura Samsung Hall! Tickets are available via SM Tickets. This show is made possible by LAMC Productions and LA Comedy Live!
