It was indeed the year of the comeback as lead vocals of one of 90’s favorite alternative groups Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash returns to the Philippines for a series of intimate acoustic shows in several branches of Ayala Malls in Manila, which started from September 27 until October 6.

She was the voice behind classic tracks such as “Kiss Me”, “There She Goes”, and “Don’t Dream It’s Over” to name a few. The last time she was here was during the Playback Music Festival in 2018, where she performed alongside Stephen Speaks, Vertical Horizon, and BLUE.

Hailing from Texas, Leigh Nash’s influence in country music and her refreshingly authentic voice is evident. Let’s admit it - it was everyone’s jam in the ’90s, and you’ll know it’s her song from the moment you hear that 5-second guitar intro of “Kiss Me” to the eclectic cover song of “There She Goes”, and these are just some of the reasons why she skyrocketed as one of the most loved artists in the ’90s.

Also, their group received two Grammy Award nominations and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Kiss Me"

We're fortunate to watch the Alabang show last October 5th, Saturday, which happens to be the second to the last show, thanks to Ayala Malls and Super Awesome Productions.

It was an exciting weekend for some fans, as they get to sing along some of their favorite tracks, and meet Leigh Nash in person. Together with her touring guitarist and back-up singer Bradley Meinerding, Nash took the stage, all smiles in her black dress, and to a rapturous applause, playing her first track “Don’t Dream It’s Over” followed by “There She Goes”, “Breath”, “Name”, and “Melody Of You”.

The new song “God Gave Me Horses” is also instantly likable with its great melody and Nash’s resplendent vocals. The crowd also swooned as she performed “Need To Be Next To You” which received significant radio airplay in 2000.

She ended her set with the nostalgic “Kiss Me” and made everyone in the venue sing along with her.

Kudos to the whole team of Super Awesome Productions and Ayala Malls for a successful event.
