Tagaytay Art Beat just did the unthinkable with the surprise announcement of its first wave of lineup for the music and arts programming.

Top singer-songwriters Reese Lansangan and Clara Benin are co-headlining the fourth installment of the highly anticipated destination festival along with indie rock favorites Ang Bandang Shirley, funk/rock/pop band Lola Amour and Russian music producer BAHR.
Other music acts in the phase one lineup include Flu, Rusty Machines, Banna Harbera, Coeli, UBE, Wicked Adobo and Indayo.
More artists will be revealed in the coming weeks as part of the festival performers curated and presented by Docdef Productions, a local music production that aims to elevate the local independent music scene with consistent tasteful curation for local music lovers and supporters.

This year’s edition wouldn’t be complete without acclaimed and upcoming artists showcasing their work on both the gallery and festival grounds.
Curated and presented by Museo Orlina, the roster for the arts programming includes Jappy Agoncillo, Angelica Alvarez, Jill Arteche, Nina Bantoto, Miel Cabañes, Lee Caces, Mykie Concepcion, Ginger De Guia, Claudine Delfin, Katarina Estrada, Matti Kawpeng, Michael Lorenzana, Ana Luciano, Dia Magculang, Luis Pastoriza, Bea Policarpio, Bianca Ruiz, Nathaniel San Pedro, Razel Mari Sta Rita, and Christopher Yap.
What to expect
“Aside from the carefully curated showcase of musicians and art exhibitors, Tagaytay Art Beat 4 promises to step up its game with immersive experiences and installations, live murals, arts and music workshops, film viewing, open jam space, DJ sets, and more,” Docdef Productions’ JB Balaquit shares. “We want to champion the festival-going experience of our patrons, and transform the Holiday capital of the South into an art and music haven that they look forward to visiting every February of the year.”
Tagaytay Art Beat co-founder Ning Orlina is also excited to implement eco-friendly strategies and community-building efforts for the upcoming festival early next year. “For the past 4 years, Tagaytay Art Beat has provided a unique space for homegrown talents such as musicians and visual artists to inspire the Filipino youth to hone their own creative potential and explore boundary-pushing ideas to help our audience understand the diversity and depth of our contemporary indie and pop culture,” Orlina points out. “This year, we also highlight the importance of supporting local by partnering with Filipino entrepreneurs and organizations that advocate for sustainable tourism and awareness.”
Tagaytay Art Beat is set to take place on February 8, 2020 (Saturday) at Museo Orlina Grounds, Tagaytay City.
The annual art and music festival is presented by Museo Orlina and Docdef Productions. Early bird tickets go on sale at the Tagaytay Art Beat social media pages on December 16, 12 am.
