Thai actor Gulf Kanawut is set to return to Manila this October 2 for his first fan meeting.
Presented by Pulp Live World, the Thai heartthrob will be reunited with Filipino fans on Sunday, October 2 at the New Frontier Theater for Gulf: First Fan Meeting in Manila.
Fans may purchase tickets from any TicketNet outlets or online via TicketNet’s website, www.ticketnet.com.ph. There are five ticket tiers to choose from: Royalty, VIP A, VIP B, VIP C, and General Admission. Royalty, VIP A and some lucky VIP B and VIP C ticketholders will be able to participate to group photo-ops with Gulf. There will also be a raffle among Royalty and VIP A ticketholders for a chance to join the Thai actor in a solo photo-op. Other fan meeting benefits such as sending-off Gulf after the event and signed event posters will also be given to ticketholders depending on their ticket tier.
The upcoming fan meeting will not be Gulf’s first visit to the Philippines. A few years ago, he was the guest artist in “Thai Fans Day 2019”, an event that was held in Quezon City. In a video posted by Pulp Live World, Gulf said that he had been really missing his Filipino fans and he had been waiting for this comeback for three years. He also mentioned in the video that he had prepared some surprises for the show.
Gulf played the lead role of Type in Thailand’s most popular boys-love series of 2019, TharnType: The Series and its 2020 sequel, TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love. In the series, Gulf was partnered with another Thai idol Mew Suppasit, who played as Tharn. Both actors, together with some of their co-actors in TharnType: The Series, were supposed to hold a fan meeting in the Philippines in the first part of 2020. The event, however, was cancelled following the safety measures set to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
