The Australian singer-songwriter Ruel wrapped up the Asian leg of the 4th Wall World Tour in Manila last May 26, 2023 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura Premier.

The show was opened by breakthrough local rapper, Young Cocoa, where he performed “Zesto,” “Seasons,” “Kafka,” his hit song “Manila,” and an unreleased song which according to him comes out next month.

The fans were hyped and filled with excitement as the intro for Ruel’s 4th Wall World Tour was played. Ruel kicked off the show with “Go On Without Me”. He performed “GROWING UP IS ___” from his EP “Bright Lights, Red Eyes,” and “YOU AGAINST YOURSELF” from his recently released 4th Wall album.

Fans sang loudly as Ruel let the crowd sing the chorus of “Dazed and Confused.” Aside from the loud cheering of the fans, he also asked them to raise their hands if they went to his free show at the Venice Grand Canal last February 2023. He then performed one of his popular songs from the “Free Time” EP, “Face to Face” and Tiktok viral “If And/Or When.” Fans were in tears as he performed “Must Be Nice,” a cover of “Night Changes” by One Direction, and “Wish I Had You.”

He also performed his cover of “Golden Hour” by JVKE followed by “Free Time.” Phones were up and flashlights with orange stickers were on while Ruel performed “Lie.” Fans also went crazy as he played the solo part of “Flames” using an electric guitar.

A surprise appearance of Filipino singer-songwriter KZ Tandingan during the show as she performed “Sitting in Traffic” with Ruel.

Ruel also performed some of his hits such as “Younger” and “Painkiller,” which brought joy to the fans as they played with a round yellow inflatable. The fans got teary-eyed as “End Scene” was performed in acoustic and Ruel immediately went backstage. The crowd clamoring for more before the credits were played on the screen. The show ended with “I DON’T WANNA BE LIKE YOU,” wherein fans raised up hand banners as a part of their fan project.

It was definitely a memorable show for the fans as they have witnessed another concert of Ruel after 4 years. After the Manila show, he went off to Cebu and Davao to perform a free show at the Ayala Center Cebu and SM City Lanang over the weekend.
