When most people think of IVE, they may think of “Dancing Queen” under fireworks. For us, they are more than that. And their recently-concluded Manila performance proved that they are not your typical K-POP group.

The concert started off strong with a performance of their biggest hit “After Like,” welcoming their Filipino DIVEs to a night full of performances and “prom-like” experiences with Wonyoung, Rei, Yujin, Leeseo, Gaeul, and Liz.

Accompanied with catchy hooks and synchronized choreographies, the girls continued the concert with performances of “Take It,” and “My Satisfaction.”

They greeted fans up-close as they strut to “Royal” in the extended stage and closed the first set with a powerful performance of “Kitsch,” one of the group’s recent comebacks.

Each duo sub-unit of the group was also able to showcase their own talents as they perform cover songs. Wonyoung and Rei performed a chic cover of Meghan Trainor’s “Me Too,” while main vocalists Yujin and Liz show off their powerful vocals with a cover of Jessie J’s “Flashlight”. Yes, mics were definitely on and the girls did a great job. Main dancers Leeseo and Gaeul didn’t hold back showcasing their moves as they perform a cover of BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love”— definitely the crowd favorite with all the loud cheers.

Fans also got to know more about their favorite girls with guessing games, trivia questions, and silhouette dance challenges. IVE gave a taste of their take on other K-POP songs including aespa’s “Spicy,” Jisoo’s “Flower,” “Girls Generation’s “Into The New World,” to name a few.

Other performances of the night included “Blue Blood,” and “I AM”. IVE also performed crowd favorites such as “ELEVEN” and “Love Dive”.

To end the night, the girls performed rock versions of “Love Dive” and “After Like” while interacting more with their Filipino DIVEs who have been waiting for the experience for years.

Certainly, the concert is a great message of women empowerment. Highlighting that every lady can be their own queen. And the members of IVE definitely showcased confidence, uniqueness, and fearlessness through a night of hits and memorable performances.

Special thanks to DNM Entertainment for bringing IVE in Manila!
