Korean singer-songwriter and rapper WOODZ took fans on a journey in his 2023 World Tour [OO-LI] in Manila last June 17 at the New Frontier Theatre.

Cho Seungyoun delighted his fans with powerful vocals, delightful band accompaniment, and swagger dance moves that excited PH MOODZ.

For his first solo concert in the Philippines, WOODZ featured songs from his fifth album, ‘’OO-LI,” along with fan-favorite tracks from his previous work. It’s no secret that the talented K-Pop soloist is not only a singer and rapper, but he also writes his songs and even produces them.

A day before the concert, he held his press conference at Quantum Skyview, Gateway 2, he said about his fans: "I want to become 'OO-LI' ('woo-ri' in Korean means us, together), so I want to be together with my fans."

He also said about his ongoing tour and album,

"My tour and album 'OO-LI' are important things in life. I was worried a lot about my projects. But throughout the process, I was able to find myself and reflect. All the love and support given by the fans made me feel relieved."

WOODZ in Manila Experience

WOOZ opened his Manila concert with “Busted,” a song from his newest mini-album “OO-LI,” followed by hijacking fans’ hearts with “Hijack,” and the groovy beats of “Love Me Harder.”

Showcasing his melodic and heart-thumping music with a stunning stage layout and irresistible charisma, his fans were in for an unforgettable concert directly from WOODZ’s creative visions and artistic expression.

Before his concert in Manila, he promised to present PH MOODZ with an unforgettable stage and exhilarating performance with a unique stage composition and rich setlist which he poured his heart and soul into.

Flexing his creative flair, the videos during breaks and even the song backgrounds were aptly designed to suit the mood of his songs.

During the concert, fans persuaded the singer to sing some covers and acapella of his fan-favorite songs excluded from his setlist. After introducing his band, fans urged him to play the guitar and sing a sample of Ed Sheeran’s song “Thinking Out Loud” and even sang his cover of “Hype Boy” by the K-Pop group New Jeans.

When he performed his songs, “Drowning” and “Journey,” WOODZ teared up as PH MOODZ sang with him and even continued singing after the songs.

“Thank you, guys. I will come back. Until I come back, please be happy and healthy,” he said when thanking fans who attended the concert, especially those who came from far away areas.

The 2023 WOODZ World Tour [OO-LI] in Manila is brought to fans by EDAM Entertainment, Kong Yeon Team, YJ Partners, Pulp Live World, Happee Hour, and Twenty Two Plus.
