Hop in, Filo iKONICs, iKON is ready to TAKE OFF with their 2023 World Tour and YOU’RE coming!

iKON is coming to town once again and is ready to paint it all red and take over Manila as they are bringing their world tour back to our shores! The “Love Scenario” artists will be performing hit after hit songs and new music in Smart Araneta Coliseum this August 5, 2023!

Hailing from one of the most intense survival shows known in K-POP, Win: WHO IS NEXT?, iKON was birthed as Team B and was formally formed after re-appearing in Mix and Match. The group went on and debuted the album “Welcome Back” with the song “My Type”, a serenading love song, and released a completely opposite genre track “Rhythm Ta” which showcased iKON’s multi-talented personas.

The group has achieved incredible feats while releasing music over the years and shifted KPOP with their mega-hit in 2018, “Love Scenario” which after release achieved 100 million streams, becoming the first song to achieve a Gaon platinum certification from the Korea Music Content Industry Association in the streaming category. The song also lasted 913 hours at the top of the MelOn Chart, South Korea’s biggest streaming music platform, and achieved 204 hourly Perfect All Kills. (Occurs when a song is number one on all charts for a set period of time in South Korea.) It also won its highest prize for a category in MelOn music awards for “Song of the Year.”

The group has had notable touring records and one of them is becoming the fastest boy group to have a Japan Dome Tour, only 1 year and 5 months after their debut and with only one album released.

After their departure from their previous label, JAY, SONG, BOBBY, DK, JU-NE, and CHAN has proven that they are still the same multi-faceted group by releasing mostly written, co-written, produced, and co-produced by the iKON themselves “TAKE OFF”, their 3rd Full Album, under their new management, 143 Entertainment. It is a collection of feel-good, road trip vibed songs like “U”, “Like a Movie”, “Driving Slowly”, and “Never Forget You” to sticking to their strong signature, anthem-like hip-hop tracks like “Tantara”, and “Rum Pum Pum” and even showcasing their members DK, SONG and JU-NE with their own solo tracks.

Continuing the “TAKE OFF” release and promotion, iKON is set to have a total of 24 shows across the globe, starting from their home country, South Korea last May 2023, and continuing to Europe, Asia, North America, and Japan.

Included in this tour is, of course, the Philippines on which iKON is set to give the Filo iKONICs a HUGE treat as the perks for this concert are more than what a fan could ask for!

In September 2022, the group last returned to the country as part of the roster for "K-Pop Masterz Ep. 2 in Manila."
