Fans of ‘Net’ Siraphop Manithikhun and ‘James’ Supamongkon Wongwisut from the Thai series ‘Bed Friend Series’ got to spend a day with the lead actors during their first fan meeting in the country last Saturday, October 14, at the SM Skydome.
The afternoon was filled with performances,
games, and cute moments which delighted the PH ‘NJ Nation’ present in the venue.
Net and James opened the fan meeting by singing OSTs from their series namely “Feel
Fan” and “Pheụn Phạk Jai”. The Skydome crowd was on their foot cheering ‘NetJames’
after their opening performance. Shortly after the cheers, the Thai actors greeted
their fans in Filipino. James shared that he got excited as he heard that
Filipino fans are known to be energetic.
A fan meeting will not be
complete if there will be no games. Net and James played “Meow Meow Hooray”, a modified
version of the Filipino party game ‘Hep Hep, Hooray”. Instead of saying ‘hep
hep’, the artists had to say ‘meow meow’ complete with cat paw hand gloves. The
game ended with the two actors receiving their ‘punishment’ by praising each
other with sentences that ended with ‘meow’. No wonder that for PH NJ Nation,
Net and James’ meows are the cutest ever!
Also in attendance is Boss
Chaikamon, of the Thai series ‘Love is in the Air’ who returned to PH to grace
the fan meeting. The Thai actor just had a fan meeting in Manila just last April
together with the lead cast of ‘Love is in the Air’.
In the Saturday’s fan meeting,
Boss performed one of his original compositions and sat down with Net and James
for a short interview. There we learned that Boss first met Net and James in
Korea. He happily revealed that they got along together easily because they
were drunk… in water. Net and James also shared messages to Boss. Boss was praised
by James for his delicious cooking.
Later on the show, Net and
James individually serenaded their PH fans. Net performed his rendition of Stephen
Sanchez’ ‘Until I Found You’ while James sang his rendition of Two Feet’s ‘You?’.
The fun continued with the
game “Head, Shoulders, Knee, Cat”, a game that asked Net and James to touch the
body part they hear and get the stuffed toy cat on stage when they hear the
word ‘cat’. Net almost did not get any point as James was so fast in getting the
cat. Net obviously lost the game but both of the actors danced to the tune of
the viral song ‘Paru-paro G’ as a ‘punishment’.
