Silverstein in Manila: An unforgettable night of emotions through music

Canadian post-hardcore legends, Silverstein, took the stage at Skydome, SM North Edsa last October 31. The venue was packed to the brim with eager fans,as they immerse themselves in an unforgettable night of raw emotion and high-octane energy.

As the lights dimmed, Ultraviolet echoed through the venue, and a surge of excitement swept through the crowd. The band wasted no time in launching into a setlist that spanned their music career, showcasing their versatility and enduring relevance in the scene.

One of the moments of the said show when Silvestein performed "My Heroine," in which the song that holds a special place in the hearts of many fans. The crowd sang every word, creating a poignant and unforgettable moment of unity between the band and their dedicated following.

Throughout the evening, Silverstein seamlessly transitioned between old classics and tracks from their latest album. They proved that their music continues to evolve while staying true to their roots. Songs like "Smile In Your Sleep", "Bad Habits" and "Infinite" showcased the band's ability to craft anthems that are both emotionally resonant and musically dynamic.

During the final song, The Altar/Mary reverberated through the venue, their Filipino fans erupted in a deafening roar of appreciation. 

Seeing Silverstein for the first time and as a fan for years, no doubt that they are masters of their craft, as they delivered a powerful performance that will be etched in the memories of their Filipino fans.
