The world-class dance crew A Team gave us an explosive performance as the front act of the show. The night officially started with pop/alternative band Cup of Joe, who played their songs "Wag na Lang," followed by crowd favorites "Tingin" and "Estranghero." The audience was already on their feet, and the energy kept building as singer-songwriter TJ Monterde took the stage next, captivating everyone with "Mahika," "Tulad Mo," and "Palagi." The solo OPM artist even shared the stories behind his songs, which were mostly inspired by his wife, KZ Tandingan.
As the night's energy continued to rise, the crowd was treated to an iconic performance by OPM legend Ebe Dancel. With his timeless hits “Hari ng Sablay,” “Makita Kang Muli,” “Wag Kang Umiyak,” and “Bawat Daan,” Dancel took the audience on a nostalgic trip, even sharing a heartfelt story about Acer supporting him during the tough times of the pandemic.
Rico Blanco, another OPM legend, then brought his signature rock vibe with performances of "Antukin," "Umaaraw Umuulan," "Your Universe," "Kisapmata," and "You'll Be Safe Here." The arena was buzzing with excitement as we experienced a "tugtugang korics" as Rico Blanco said, making everyone jump up and down and feel all the feels with each song he performs.
Fans went wild when international superstar Sandara Park and the fierce female group G22 teamed up for a never-before-seen performance of "In or Out", a song popularized by Sandara Park during her Star Circle Quest days in the Philippines. The energy skyrocketed when Sandara and SB19 joined forces for "Reset," their collaboration from 2023. G22, known as the "Female Alphas of P-pop," then kept the momentum going with their P-pop hits like "Boomerang," "Bang," "One Sided Love," and "Loka."
Sandara returned to the stage, delivering a mix of nostalgia and excitement with her performances of "Dara Dara," "I Don't Care," and a mashup of "I'm the Best" and "Can't Nobody." One lucky fan even got to take home a signed hat from Dara, which she wore during her performance.
The night reached its peak when SB19, dubbed the "Kings of P-pop," took the stage. They brought the house down with their powerful performances of "Gento," "Hanggang sa Huli," and "Crimzone." In a surprise moment, they introduced an unreleased track, "Kalakal," featuring rapper Gloc 9, now out on all streaming platforms.
The grand finale was nothing short of spectacular. SB19 and G22 joined forces to perform "Limitless," the theme song of Acer Day 2024, composed by SB19 leader Pablo. The performance was a perfect representation of the concert's theme, proving that both the artists and Acer are indeed limitless in what they can achieve.
A day filled with creativity, innovation, and the boundless potential within us all, that's what happened last Acer Day 2024: AI'm Limitless. Together with over 20,000 fans in the arena and online, everyone went home with a smile on their faces as they were able to witness this monumental day for Acer and the customers who have supported the brand ever since.
