Our PINOY PRIDE, the global boy group HORI7ON, recently held their second solo concert in Manila, titled HORI7ON Daytour: ANCHOR HIGH. Presented by DNM Entertainment, the concert took place last November 3 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The venue was packed with enthusiastic fans, known as the ANCHORS, all dressed in school uniforms. Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Reyster, Winston, Jeromy, and Marcus were thrilled to reunite with their ANCHORs one year after their first concert at Araneta Coliseum. They promised to deliver great performances and reveal a new side of themselves—and they certainly did.
The all-Filipino boy group kicked off the night with their rendition of the classic Pinoy song "Sumayaw, Sumunod," starting the concert on a strong and groovy note that had the entire crowd dancing. This was followed by performances of "Lovey Dovey" and "How You Feel."
HORI7ON made the night even more special for their fans by debuting not one, but two unreleased tracks: "COLD" and "2Cool 2Care." Each song brought its unique style and vibe— "COLD" featured a cute and groovy melody about not wanting their lover's feelings to go cold, while "2Cool 2Care" dazzled with a strong melody and powerful dance choreography that showcased their charisma on stage.
The boys also took center stage individually, allowing each member to shine. Kim kicked off the solo performances with his guitar, singing "YK" by Cean Jr. Next, Kyler serenaded the crowd with "They Call This Love," handing out flowers to fans from a basket. Winston followed with a heartfelt cover of Justin Bieber's "Off My Face."
Marcus delivered the first dance solo of the night with an incredible performance inspired by Rain. Vinci captivated the audience with his angelic rendition of Harry Styles' "Falling." Though Reyster is the group's main rapper, he surprised fans with a beautiful dance performance to "Die with a Smile" by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Last but not least, Jeromy turned up the energy with a hip-hop dance stage, showcasing his skills as the main dancer.
It was truly impressive that HORI7ON performed in three languages—Tagalog, English, and Korean. They performed some of their Korean songs while also proudly singing in their native tongue. A particularly special moment was when they performed "Mama," a heartfelt tribute to their mothers, expressing deep gratitude and love. The boys became emotional as they thanked their families for their unwavering support and their fans for standing by them since the beginning of their journey.
This concert showed how much they have grown since their time on Dream Maker by performing different types of music. They displayed flexibility and progress, impressing the audience with each performance. It was a night that ANCHORs will remember and treasure for a long time.
