The cast of WILD WILD After Party bared more than their bodies when we met them. Scroll down to know more.
In the last article, I only had my TikTok and Instagram feeds to fuel my curiosity. But nothing comes close to seeing the WILD WILD men live and literally, up close.
Last May 21, 2025, we got invited to an exclusive press conference to meet the faces behind the viral fantasy that’s been taking over our screens and soon, the Manila stage. Held at the Versailles Tent of Novotel Manila in Araneta City, the event was hosted by dancer and host Jill Ngo. With interpreter Yelin Kim helping to translate the boys’ words (and charm), the media leaned in, listened closely, and occasionally, screamed.
Only a few of us were given a chance to ask questions. So I took our shot:
What inspires their style or way of dancing?
Can you share your favorite artist or favorite music?
Lee Yunje, explained, “Even though we follow the same choreography, each of us brings our unique dance style to the performance. As a team, we maintain harmony while staying true to the director’s vision. From there, we do our best to honor that commitment to the group while adding our personal touch and emotion.”
Each member also offered us a taste of their personalities:
"Hello, everyone. My name is Lee Yunje. My dance style is full of energy and passion."
"This is Kim Jinwoo. I majored in Taekwondo when I was young. I think it's attractive to have a passion for dancing."
"I’m Kim Donghee. I used to love singing more than dancing, but that changed. I wasn’t great at it at first, but Wild Wild helped me improve. I personally like Lea Salonga and Arnel Pineda from Journey."
"Hello, my name is Kang Chunil. I come from a contemporary dance background, so I’ve got a lot of intense segments. I love choreography that hits hard and leaves an impact."
"I am Roh Jinwook. I’m not naturally great at dancing, but I believe in the power of practice. I always bring my full energy to every performance."
"Hello, my name is Jeong Hansaem, and I have a defined character. I'm tall and have a lot of muscles. I like blending cute and sexy in my moves."
Unfortunately, Lee Heejung and Han Jinwook couldn’t attend that day because they just arrived in the Philippines. But we’ll be watching closely as they join the ensemble this May 24 in the New Frontier Theater.
If you want to know what else we experienced during the press presentation, just follow our social media because what really happened is better seen than written.
But one thing is certain: whether they’re dancing shirtless under stage lights or slowly revealing the layers beneath their crafted personas, the WILD WILD men are not just sculpted bodies and smoldering stares. They’re devoted and unapologetic actors who can turn raw desire into art. And together, they can transform a 75-minute performance into a visceral reminder of why sometimes, the only thing worth doing… is following your instinct.
