Iconic American group the Black Eyed Peas recently visited Manila for a "homecoming" show as the group features 2 Filipino members namely Apl. De Ap and touring member J Rey Soul- making the last stop of their tour in Asia certainly a night to remember!
The show boasted the group's legendary discography with dance hits, bringing in nostalgia across the whole arena. Alongside that, each member also got to showcase their talents by performing their solo hits.
Black Eyed Peas is the group behind iconic hits like "BOOM BOOM POW," "Meet Me Halfway," "I Got A Feeling," to name a few. Solo hits of the members included "Bebot," "Scream and Shout," and more.
Another surprise that got the crowd more hyped was when Apl. De Ap brought out DARA, a member of K-POP group 2NE1, to perform their song "2 Proud," released in 2024.
To conclude their world tour in 2025 on an emotional note, members Will.I.Am and Apl. even brought out their parents, sharing stories of how the group was formed because of their mothers, even going as far back as how Apl wanted to become a rapper when they first met in the US. Fast forward to 2025, Apl still takes the members of the group to his hometown in Pampanga- showing how he has remained humble following worldwide success.
