Red Velvet’s WENDY made her return to Manila for her 1st World Tour “W:EALIVE”, last Jan. 17, 2026 at the New Frontier Theater!
Wendy captivated her Filipino fans all throughout the concert as she performed electrifying stages including “Fireproof”, “Hate2”, “Queen of the Party”, and many more! Aside from her upbeat tracks, fans got to see her romantic and sweeter side with performances of “Why Can’t You Love Me?”, “Best Ever”, “Chapter You”.
In between sets, she expressed how overwhelmed she was with the energy and cheers of the fans all throughout the stages, that she could barely hear through her in-ears. She also mentioned that as soon as she got to Manila, she got to try Jollibee and adobo. Adding to that, she also hopes to try some Filipino desserts such as Halo-Halo and Llaollao!
Wendy also moved fans with her emotional stages of Kdrama OSTs including “Goodbye”, “Two Words”, and “Airport Goodbyes”. Alongside her solo songs, Filipino ReVeluvs were super thrilled to hear her perform Red Velvet’s “Light Me Up” and her track with fellow member, Seulgi, “Best Friend”.
As the concert came to an end, fans cheered for more and Wendy didn’t hesitate to return for an encore stage! She ended the night with a huge treat for her fans as she sang 3 of the most requested songs, “Vermilion”, “Hate2”, and “Wish You Hell”!
The 3-hour concert truly highlighted Wendy’s diversity and heart as an artist. From her soaring high notes, to sweet mellow songs, and tender ballads, capturing her heartfelt dedication to her fans. With every song, Wendy made her fans feel as alive that night as she does on stage!
