B.Rox (pronounced “B Rocks") is a full-fledged dance and vocal unit from Okinawa Prefecture, Japan. Hikaru, Rian, and Rune are members of B.B. Waves who are part of the Okinawa Actors School. These girls aged between 16 to 20, they captivated the audience with their powerful vocal and dance moves.
During their visit in Manila recently, they are delighted to get to know the Filipino culture. Their moves incorporated in the Okinawan dance. With the fusion of hip-hop, and Okinawan jive, the girls empowered the new generation of JPop.
B.Rox is pursuing a direction inspired by a modern-day TLC–type group — strong, individualistic, vocally powerful, and globally resonant. When I met them, I reminded them to some JPop group in the 90's.
With their slogan, “From Okinawa to the world,” B.Rox has begun taking their first steps internationally and The Philippines marked their first overseas trip as a group. Delighted to learn that some of the members have Filipino roots.
While they were in Manila, they appeared as a special guest at “PASSIONISM Volume 2.0,” organized by LIV Dance Academy, performing alongside fellow Okinawa Actors School group E’sekai.
Their exposure in performing on stage gained attention during “Okinawa Actors School Full Revival Festival” held at Nippon Budokan in March 2025 and at MAX’s 30th anniversary concert at the Okinawa Convention Center.

“We believe B.Rox is a group where completely different personalities — our looks, voices, and characters — overlap to create exciting performances. ‘Greedy Girls’ feels like our dreams have been turned directly into a song. It expresses our determination to move forward greedily, no matter what anyone says — because we can’t stop anymore. We’re working hard to become a group that people simply think is ‘cool,’ so we truly appreciate your support,” said Hiraku.
