British singer-songwriter Alexander James O'Connor or professionally known as Rex Orange County made a triumphant return to the Philippine stage last August 20th at the Mall of Asia Arena for a one-night Asia-exclusive concert as part of Wilbros Live's "LALALA" Festival, becoming the singer's biggest show in Manila to date.
The concert was opened by OPM acts Over October and Maki, who are also part of the LALALA Festival line-up, giving a taste of what fans could expect for their LALALA Fest sets happening the following night.
The Rex Orange County Asia-exclusive concert was a treat to fans following live debuts of two brand new songs namely "Indecision," originally a duet with Canadian-singer Daniel Caesar, and an unreleased track titled "Boyfriend". Fans of the singer got to experience these songs live for the first time.
Additionally, Alex made sure to include fan favorites like "AMAZING," "THE SHADE," "ALWAYS," and "LOVING IS EASY," to name a few. The singer was also blown away hearing how loud the Manila crowd sounded throughout the night.
Overall, the Rex Orange County Asia-exclusive concert was a success with how flawless and magnificent the show was, powered mainly by Alexander's voice and talent in playing different instruments apart from the energy driven by the powerful Manila crowd.
