YouTube Fan Fest 2016 in Manila is for the fans!

Gelo de Vera
It all started with the hashtag ‪#‎BringYoutubersToManila‬, the worldwide trend with the help of Philippine street teams, the second YouTube Fan Fest Manila happened last May 27 at the World Trade Center.

The night started with an electric dance performance from a Filipino dancer, actor, musician, percussionist, choreographer and producer Gab Valenciano—leaving the YTFF fans wanting for more.

YouTube sensations Tanner Patrick and Tiffany Alvord serenaded their Filipino fans with their original songs followed by a question and answer portion hosted by the online influencer Lloyd Cafe Cadena with the help of Wengie.

Mikey Bustos made thousands of fans laugh with his skits and song numbers, followed by a video of a stroll at the Manila Bay with the one and only Connor Franta.

The line-up included YouTube personality with 5 million subscribers, global trendsetter, entrepreneur, Connor Franta. Connor played "How Well Do You Know Connor Franta" and "How Well Do You Know The Philippines" at the YTFF Main Stage in front of thousands of fans.

Coming all the way from Riverside, California, AJ Rafael played a few songs for his Filipino fans. It was AJ's second time to be at the YTFF stage!
Filipino-American content creator Alex Wassabi was up for quite a few (embarrassing) challenges at the YTFF stage. The guy had to eat balut and he hula-hooped while making coffee! Highlight of the night was when he belly danced! He even brought out his brother for help.

The Filharmonic brought their powerhouse vocals to the YTFF stage. The LA-based a cappella group performed a few songs, one of which is for Nescafé!

Filipino rapper Abra took the stage to spit some rhymes and even gave out albums to the crowd! It is indeed amazing to see that the YTFF team also supports local acts.

With over 100,000,000 views, Bogart The Explorer was also part of the line-up, the guy gave the YTFF crowd a couple of laughs as well. Can we talk about that accent though?

The night ended with a beautiful performance from singer, songwriter, Tyler Ward. The YTFF crowd put their hearts up while Tyler performed "Hoopty Hoop", you can also check out the song he wrote for the Philippines here.

The YTFF experience just keeps getting better and better every year! The Fan Fest is indeed for the fans and aspiring YouTube content creators.
