The South Korean 9-member boygroup, CRAVITY, graced the Philippine stage and gave a spectacular show at the New Frontier Theater last Saturday night. It was the group’s first time performing in the country, and they definitely came prepared to wow everyone with their mesmerizing visuals, powerful vocals, and groovy dance skills.
Right from the very start of the show, CRAVITY showcased their energy by performing "Get Lifted," a thrilling mix of Hip-hop and Rock. They followed it up with "Baddie," which featured a stronger kaleidoscopic beat. To top off their opening set, the members hyped the crowd with their exuding charisma as they performed "My Turn."
Filipino fans did not disappoint as well. With their enthusiastic cheers and loud fanchants, PH LUVITYs undoubtedly matched CRAVITY’s gravitational energy. After all, they had been holding in those pent-up emotions for more than three years, right?
Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin also showed their colorful and youthful side as they let loose performing their lighter tracks: “Maybe Baby,” “FLY,” “Boogie Woogie,” “Ohh Ahh,” and “Party Rock.” The members also took this chance to interact with their fans, sending finger-hearts and stealing hearts!
During their ment, the members also made sure to connect with their filipino fans by dancing to SB19’s GENTO, led by members Hyeongjun and Taeyoung.
To ensure that it would be an unforgettable night for the members, the fans arranged a special birthday surprise for the group's cherished maknae, Seongmin. They prepared a cake and greeted the birthday celebrant with a song.
The members sincerely expressed their gratitude to their Filipino fans for their patience, as it took them a couple of years to visit and meet them face-to-face.
“We’ve visited a lot of cities for this tour and Manila is the hottest,” said Allen as he expressed his appreciation for the passionate and wild Filipino crowd.
After delivering 19 captivating songs on stage, the group brought their show to a heartwarming conclusion with the song "Colorful," assuring their fans that they would embark on a vibrant journey that would last forever. But wait, the party didn’t stop there! All Filo-LUVITYs inside the venue had the incredible opportunity to get up close and personal with the nine members during the Hi-Bye Session.
CRAVITY has just concluded their first solo concert in Manila as part of their first world tour, and the anticipation for their return starts now. The show was worth the wait and truly a masterpiece.
