In case you didn’t know, before becoming a globally renowned actor, Taecyeon launched his career in 2008 as a K-pop idol with the group 2PM. This group later ascended to become one of the industry’s most prominent boy groups with catchy smash hits like 'My House', 'Hands Up', 'Heartbeat', and 'Make It'. Only a few years later, he ventured into acting and quickly gained popularity, especially for his roles in 'Dream High' and 'Let’s Fight Ghost'.
Want to know more about TAECYEON? Here are some interesting facts you may not know yet!
1. Visited Manila with his 2PM members way back March 2013!
A decade ago, Taecyeon and his fellow 2PM members visited Manila for their “What Time Is It?” concert. The show took place at the Mall of Asia Arena on March 2, 2013, and thoroughly impressed every Filo-Hottest with their heart-stopping charisma. In addition to their catchy dance hits, 2PM also crooned ballads that induced deafening screams from fans. (How about another concert soon?)
2. A Stellar Student
During his school days, Taecyeon was incredibly active. He was a member of the school's Chess Club, Jazz Band, Track & Field team, JV Soccer Team, and finally, but certainly not least, the National Honor Society. Impressive, isn't it?
3. His cameo on Netflix’s XO Kitty
Don’t deny it. We’re sure that you also gasped when THE Ok Taecyeon appeared on your screen while watching the Netflix movie XO, Kitty. He played Ocean Park, a celebrity that worked with Sang Heon Lee’s mom on a fictional drama. Although his appearance lasted only a few minutes in episode 8, it was indeed a memorable one!
