Australian indie-rock sensation Last Dinosaurs took the stage last December 8 at SM North EDSA Skydome, concluded their 2024 Asia Tour. Marking their return to the Philippines after five years since their 2019 performance, the band drew an enthusiastic crowd of Filipino fans who braved the rainy weather to revel in a night of electrifying music.
The evening began with a stellar performance by Oh, Flamingo!, who set the mood with their song Inconsistencies, and June. Their opening set built up the energy, perfectly priming the crowd before Last Dinosaurs took the stage.
Last Dinosaurs opened their set with the infectious track "Afterlife," instantly energizing the audience. The night reached an emotional high when Oh, Flamingo!’s vocalist and bassist, Billie, joined the band on stage for a heartfelt rendition of the alternative version of "Sense." This marked the first-ever live performance of the revamped track, with the crowd enthusiastically singing along, making it an unforgettable moment.
The band kept the energy soaring as they thrilled the audience with a dynamic playlist such as FMU, Shallow Boy, Wurl, Italo Disco, Weekend, Apollo, Bass God, Zoom, and Eleven.
To close the night on a high note, the encore featured Stream, Honolulu, and Andy.
