Australian indie-rock band Last Dinosaurs is making their long-awaited comeback to Manila this weekend, marking five years since their last performance in 2019. Known for hits like "Zoom," "Apollo," and "Sense," the band is set to thrill fans once again—this time with a special twist.

In an exciting collaboration launched on November 15, Last Dinosaurs teamed up with the Philippines’ very own indie band Oh, Flamingo! to reimagine their heartbreak song "Sense." This alternate version features Tagalog lyrics, showcasing a fusion of sounds and cultures. This isn’t their first venture into regional collaborations; the band previously worked with Indonesian indie-pop sensation Grrrl Gang for a fresh take on their song "Eleven." These partnerships are part of the upcoming re-release of their 2018 album, Yumeno Garden.

Last Dinosaurs’ unique approach to collaborating with Southeast Asian artists adds a local flavor to their music, allowing fans from each country to connect with their songs on a deeper level. Speaking about their work with Oh, Flamingo!, the band shared, “We’re so excited to have a cool band from the Filipino scene sing some lines on this track in Tagalog. We have fond memories of playing to super enthusiastic crowds in Manila, and having Oh, Flamingo! on the bill should make this another big night of dino rock.”

The highly anticipated concert is happening on December 8, 2024, at the SM North EDSA Skydome. Oh, Flamingo! will open the show, setting the stage for an unforgettable night of music and energy.

Don’t miss this epic event—tickets are still available via SM Tickets. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to their music, this is your chance to experience Last Dinosaurs live, with a local twist that promises to make the night even more special.

Get ready, Manila—it’s time to rock out with the dinos!
