Relive rock-n-roll anthems with One Night of Queen on Oct.24 and 25

After successful shows in Europe, New Zealand and the USA, Solaire Resorts & Casino, MKFAE Productions, Inc. and Royale Chimes Concerts and Events Inc. are bringing One Night Of Queen to the Manila stage for the first time from October 24 to 25, with 2 massive shows currently on sale.

The famous British band Queen first entered the music scene as a college band, but began touring in 1973 when their debut album was released. They initially had a strong following among rock and roll fans and gained a larger reach after the release of One Night at the Opera which included the dramatic masterpiece, Bohemian Rhapsody. Even after the death of their lead singer Freddie Mercury, the band continued on to become the model for pomp rock in America and all over the world. They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001, making them highly popular to the millennial generation.

That same year, the theatrical and mesmeric show One Night of Queen was set in motion by the band Gary Mullen and the Works as homage to perhaps the greatest rock band of all time. Mullen gained popularity when he won the competition show Stars in Their Eyes with his spot-on imitation of Mercury’s vocals and performance, and has been touring with his band around the globe since then. Aptly coined the world’s premiere Queen tribute band, Gary Mullen and the Works is guaranteed to rock you.

One Night of Queen is an action-packed summary of the band’s best and most lauded performances. In two music-filled hours, relive your favorite iconic 80’s and 90’s rock songs Radio Gaga, A Kind of Magic, Another One Bites the Dust, We Are The Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, I want to Break Free, We Will Rock You, to name a few on October 24, Saturday and on October 25, Sunday at The Theatre of Solaire Resorts and Casino.

Bryan White, the voice behind #ALDub KalyeSerye’s “God Gave Me You” will perform in Manila on December 1

It’s a wish granted for Yaya Dub as Bryan White, the singer of the sensational KalyeSerye AlDub’s theme song, “God Gave Me You”, will be coming to Manila this December 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Maine Mendoza, popularly known as “Yaya Dub” and one-half of the phenomenal AlDub tandem, expressed in a tweet that she hopes to see Bryan White perform in Manila soon. The Grammy Award-winning American country music artist appreciated split-screen lovers Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza on Twitter for injecting “God Gave Me You” in the AlDub series. Bryan White shared with his fans that he is both humbled and honoured at the same time. In fact, just recently, Alden Richards serenaded Yaya Dub with “God Gave Me You”.

A series of video clips showing White speaking to his Filipino fans were also posted by avid AlDub supporters on Twitter. In the video, White thanked his Filipino fans and his followers from all across Asia. “I’ve been very excited about all that’s happening with ‘God Gave Me You,’” White said. He added, “I love the song so much... I just can’t believe how music travels and you just never know where it’s gonna end up and what’s gonna happen with it.” He promised to visit the Philippines very soon and mentions that he and his team are actually working on a Philippine tour. He concluded by saying, “We will definitely see you soon.”

Bryan White’s inclination to music started early in life, since he grew up in a musical family in Oklahoma. His musical mentor, Steve Wariner, made a significant impact on White. White mentions, “I immediately gravitated toward his tone and phrasing. I knew right then, at the age of fourteen, what I wanted to do with my life”. Just right out of high school, he packed up his drum sticks, guitar, aspirations, and the five hundred dollars from his family and went to Nashville to begin his career as a musician.

Bryan White is the artist/composer behind the hits “From This Moment On” (with Shania Twain), “So Much For Pretending”, and “I’m Not Supposed To Love You Anymore”. He charted seventeen singles on the Billboard’s Country Charts. To his credit are six number one singles, two platinum and golds, and several awards including a Grammy and an ACM Top Male Vocalist Award. He was also considered as one of People Magazine’s “50 most beautiful people”.

Bryan latest release “Shine” is now available on iTunes and in the Bryan White online store. White revealed when asked about what he hoped to accomplish in the record, that despite his accolades, he never forgets where he comes from. White says he has always been appreciative of what he has been rewarded throughout the years. Looking back on all his accomplishments, he is grateful now more than ever for all of the milestones in his career.

Filipino fans can now look forward to a night of “kilig” moments and romance as the singer-songwriter performs his much endeared love anthems come 1st of December, 8 pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Bryan White “God Gave Me You” Tour Live in Manila is presented by Concert Republic/ OctoArts Entertainment Inc.

Talented Filipino singer Jessica Reynoso released her music video for Crazy 'Bout U

Filipino singer Jessica Reynoso revealed her new music video for Crazy 'Bout U featuring The Black Eyed Peas member Apl.de.ap. I've seen her performed on stage last year for an MTV event.

The video, directed by Treb Monteras II, who also directed Reynoso's first music video "Just Like You", portrays Jessica dancing in the Art in Island Interactive 3D Museum, located in Manila.

This is the much-anticipated collaboration with her coach Apl, and this partnership is fun, colourful and vibrant!

I can’t believe that this is real – I have my own single featuring coach Apl! He is just awesome as a coach and mentor, and he is always looking out for me. Take a listen to “Crazy ‘Bout U’ and you’ll know what I mean! Apl.de.Ap is just as stoked: "Crazy 'Bout U” is super dope and the video is off the hook too. Jessica is amazing on this jam – the star in her is really starting to shine so bright. Making this song with her has really proven to me she can make the world groove.

Crazy 'Bout U is currently available on all digital platforms globally, including iTunes, Spotify, Deezer and Google Play.

This is the third single that Jessica has released under BMBX [pronounced “BooMBoX”], Apl.de.ap's record label, which promotes music artists from Southeast Asia. In 2014, she released her debut single "Just Like You", followed up by her second single "Sing Along".

Recently, Jessica traveled to Los Angeles, California to work on her upcoming debut album under Apl.de.ap's mentorship. She also was invited to perform in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam for the ASEAN "Be Our Rock & Pop Soul" Music Competition at the historical Saigon Opera House.
