Armin van Buuren set to return in Manila for Armin Only Embrace on November 25

Guess who's coming back to Manila in November? Armin Van Buuren is coming back for more!

After the huge success of Armin Only Intense Manila, he's back in Armin Only Embrace!

Armin Only Embrace is a 5-hour-long experience in which worlds are linked by live performances, dance acts, visuals, special effects and, above all, by the 5 times No.1 DJ in the world, Armin van Buuren. Together with his team, the DJ brings a next-level experience to the world, something that is completely new to the dance scene. He will end the night with a special vinyl hour.

Armin Only Embrace is the biggest thing Armin has ever done.

"A show like this has never been shown before,' says Armin Van Buuren. ’The rehearsal process for this show lasted three weeks. This is the first time people will experience such a trance event, its unique’.  You can compare it with a large-scale rock show, but with four hours of non-stop dance music.”

'Armin Only Embrace' focuses on Armin’s sixth and most recent studio album 'Embrace'. The legendary DJ’s spectacular show is also special in that it features different music styles. Artists and bands including Kensington, Mr. Probz, Eric Vloeimans and Cimo Fränkel are part of the tour. Armin’s world tour had a sensational kick-off on 6 and 7 May 2016 in a sold-out Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam.

‘Armin Only Embrace’ happens on November 25, 2016, 8pm at the Mall Of Asia Arena.
Presented by Heineken® and produced by MCA Music.

Tickets for the Armin Only Embrace will be available at SM Tickets. Call 470-2222 or visit  www.smtickets.com

Pinoy rock icon Bamboo announced major tour in UK and Ireland

Fresh from recording another series of the hugely popular TV show ‘The Voice Kids’, Bamboo will take to the road for a UK & Ireland Tour of several of the world’s most iconic concert venues.

The music icon will play dates at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh (October 16), the Palace Theatre, Manchester (October 18), the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London (October 19) and The Olympia Theatre, Dublin (October 24) as he continues the promotion of his second solo album ‘Bless This Mess’, released in late 2015.

“I can’t wait to play my new material for my fans in the UK and Ireland,” said the former singer who first found fame in the mid-1990s as lead singer of Rivermaya before going on to front his own eponymous band.

“The concerts will feature a lot of my new solo songs as well as many of the classics that prove popular every time we go on an international tour.”

Bamboo’s tour of the UK and Ireland will be produced and promoted by Spicy Lemon, the team behind Kamikazee’s hugely-successful ‘Huling Sayaw’ farewell show at Manila’s SMART Araneta Coliseum in December 2015.

It will be the third time Bamboo and Spicy Lemon have joined forces. The Dubai-based company also staged shows for Bamboo in the UAE in 2013 and 2014 and have drawn up plans for what will be the singer’s most ambitious shows outside of the Philippines.

“The venues we will be playing are among the most famous in the world - I’m looking forward to playing them all,” added Bamboo.

“The greatest bands have all played the Hammersmith Apollo so it’s an honour to be able to perform on a stage that has welcomed some of my favourite artists such as the Beatles, Radiohead and U2.”

For the thousands of Filipinos who now live and work in the UK and Ireland, Bamboo’s autumn tour will also provide an authentic link to the Philippines – a fact not lost on a singer who has reached a new global TV audience thanks to his role as coach and mentor on both ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ and ‘The Voice Kids’.

“The support I get when I play abroad is something else so for one night, through my music, I’m going to bring those guys back home - that’s a promise,” he added. “It’s going to be fun and I’m expecting a lot of energy from the crowd, as well as myself and the band – we really want this to be a family affair with the older generation coming along with their kids.”

As well as the UK and Ireland, Bamboo will also play October shows in Dubai, UAE and the city of Doha in Qatar. Bamboo’s tour of the UK, Ireland and the Middle East is produced and promoted by Spicy Lemon with full venue details and ticket information available from www.spicylemon.rocks.

Tickets for Edinburgh, London and Dublin are on sale now, while fans wanting to see Bamboo live in Manchester, Dubai and Doha should check the website and social media for news on when tickets will become available.

Korean R&B Singer DEAN Brings 'TRBL' in Manila

South Korea's R&B singer DEAN performed yesterday at SM City North EDSA Skydome to promote his debut EP entitled "130 MOOD: TRBL" distributed by MCA Music (Universal Music Philippines).

"130 MOOD: TRBL" was Dean's first EP album. The meaning of title -- '130' was kind of symbol of James Dean as he put the number 130 on his car. It was revealed that Dean has been inspired by James Dean. 'TRBL' stands for 'trouble' and it's from Dean's nickname 'Dean TRBL'. The whole album was in reverse order of one man's love story, from falling in love with a 21-year-old girl to suffering heartbreak, which seems to be a part of our life.

HERE COMES 'TRBL'...

Opening acts Krissy and DJ Church and Bless hyped up the Rebels (Dean's fandom name), with their pop-acoustic performance and upbeat music mixes, as rebels wait for Dean to come up on stage.

Red lights and Rebels' scream signaled Dean's appearance with his English-language pump up track 'Put Your Hands On You'.

After greeting the fans 'Thank you for waiting. I miss you guys so much', the charismatic performer moved on to present"130 MOOD: TRBL" title tracks '21', 'What 2 do', and 'Half Moon', which PH Rebels energetically sang along.

Astonished with the Rebel's response, Dean says: "Thank you so much PH, I Love You" and bowed before he went backstage.

"Bitin" with his performance, PH Rebels shouted "We Want More!"

Dean got back on stage with his bass heavy trance track "Pour Up!"

Bringing the promotional tour to a close, DEAN performed his last song "I'm Not Sorry" and bow down again to the Rebels as a sign of gratitude: "Thank you so much guys, see you soon", he said before leaving the stage.

Some lucky rebels got the chance to meet and greet 'Dean' backstage right after he finish his performance.

All VIP ticket holders had their CDs signed by Dean himself!!!

#DEANinMNL was presented by MCA Music, Smart, SM North Skydome, Marco Polo Ortigas, and Astroplus.

Electrifying Revival Tour with Selena Gomez in Manila

It's been said and done
Every beautiful thought's been already sung
And I guess right now here's another one
So your melody will play on and on, with the best of 'em
Pop star Selena Gomez landed our shores for the first time and fired up Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday night, July 31. As part of the Revival Tour, she sizzled the crowd with her chart-topping songs such as Love You Like a Love Song, and Kill 'Em with Kindness, among others.

Aptly called The Queen by her devoted Selenators, she described the Filipino concertgoers as the 'loudest'. She said during the beginning of the show,“I think this has gotta be the loudest crowd I’ve ever been in,”

Aside from her songs, Gomez did performed some throwback songs such as Come and Get It, Love You Like A Love Song and Slow Down, and covers of Hillsong’s Transfiguration and Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This).

A bonus from the Manila leg of Revival Tour is that she did a sneak peek of her new song called Feel Me. Selena expressed her love to her Filipino fans and promised to return to the country.
