In celebration of Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino, FILSCAP proudly
presents Songwriters' Night SELECT: Year 2!
We’re
back on our second year with a new batch of dynamic and talented songwriters
from all over the country. On July 26, 2019, we can anticipate a day of music
revelry at the Music Museum, headed by the renowned musical director, Mr. Butch
Miraflor.
This
year’s #FSNS features 14 homegrown singer-songwriters and special guests-- Jim
Paredes and Boboy Garovillo of APO Hiking Society and the band Silent Sanctuary
to altogether celebrate the ‘Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino’.
WHAT IS FILSCAP Songwriters’ Night SELECT?
The
FILSCAP Songwriters’ Night Select was once a concept turned into reality for a
heap of selected songwriters who stood out from four of our previously held
FILSCAP Songwriters’ Night Open Mic events.
Promising
a bigger celebration for the ‘Linggo ng Musikang Pilipino’, we have selected 14
outstanding songwriters from over 300 composers who took the stage and showcased
their original compositions.
