WWE's Celtic Warrior Sheamus paid Manila a visit to promote the global wrestling giant's upcoming Philippine tour after three years. Enduring a 24-hour flight to the country, the former multi-time WWE Champion was pretty game to interact with fans and answer a few questions from avid supporters and press people in attendance. We'd actually consider him a gentle giant – or in this case, a gentle "fella". Outside the confines of a wrestling ring, his true persona is far from his ferocious and sometimes villainous WWE character.
Sheamus is currently on the sidelines recuperating from an injury but his YouTube Channel "Celtic Warrior Workouts" is what's been keeping him real busy.
And while he's still not medically cleared to compete, he assured the Pinoy WWE Universe that his wrestling career is far from done. In fact, he has his sights set on winning the Intercontinental title, the only championship that has eluded him in his stellar and Hall of Fame-worthy WWE career. We'll be waiting for your in-ring return, Great White! Thanks for showing Filipino fans a good time!
