Yugyeom Live in Manila : A Hyped and Enjoyable Show

Karen Meets World

Got7 Yugyeom gave a hyped and enjoyable show for the Philippine Ahgases during his first solo concert in Manila entitled “Yugyeom Live in Manila” held last August 19, 2022 at the New Frontier Theater.

Everything in the concert was immensely put together – from the stage, lighting, effects, visuals, to the setlist, that you go home feeling overjoyed.

The #YugyeomLiveinManila concert started with DJ Wegun playing a remix of AOMG, H1GHR Music songs such as ‘We Are’, ‘Party (Shut Down)’, Simon Dominic, and ‘DAx4’, and Got7 songs like ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Never Ever’ to name a few, to boost the crowd’s energy before the main show.

PH Ahgases welcomed Yugyeom with loud shouts as he performed ‘I Want U Around’, ‘Running Through the Rain’, ‘When U Fall’, ‘Falling In Love’, ‘All About U’ and ‘Lights’ from his Point of View: U album.

The performance was very chill and heartwarming as every rhythm pierced through everyones’ heart.

He then put on a groove to the ‘Lights’ and ‘‘Take You Down’ set.

PH Ahgases went wild when Yugyeom showcased his dance and vocal color in the second half of the show. He started owning the stage when ‘All Your Fault’ was played. He also began being playful with the crowd as he covered Jay Park’s ‘MOMMAE’. The night gets more and more crazy when he lifted his shirt showing his dandelion tattoo on his side while dancing to ‘All I Wanna Do’.

As a surprise to PH Aghases, he performed his unreleased song ‘Always Ready’.

The concert will not be complete if Yugyeom did not show off his freestyle and breakdancing abilities. He flaunted how much he loved dancing in 'Chingiz Khan' dance cover.

Yugyeom knows that PH Ahgases valued Got7 more than anything else so he made sure to have Got7 songs as an encore to his concert ‘Hard Carry’ and ‘1+1’. He also made it more special when he replaced ‘Thank, You, Sorry’ to ‘Two’.

Yugyeom Got Closer to PH Ahgases

During the concert’s Ment, Yugyeom shared how happy he was to see PH Ahgases again after three (3) years and he was so excited to give them a full show. He also made it a point to relay his message in English to be more connected with his fans.

He added that he really prepared a lot for his album and solo concert as he wanted fans to enjoy it even if it's not a group show. He said that in this album, he focused more on the lyrics to express himself and share what he wanted to feel as an artist. He listened to many types of music, retro, rnb, hiphop, and so on, as he wanted to try many styles with his own voice.

Yugyeom was all smiles throughout the show seeing the beautiful green ocean PH Ahgases lit up for him. He was so pumped up that he took over the theater during some of his performance partying and jumping along with the PH Ahgases as the audience.

#YugyeomLiveinManila was Worth Remembering

Seeing Yugyeom give his all for this show made the concert worth remembering for PH Ahgases. The concert felt complete even though it was just a one hour and a half show. It was amazing!

Thank you Pulp Live World, and Maxperience for bringing Yugyeom to Manila! See you on the next one!
