Pulp Live World officially launched HALLYUWEEN, a K-inspired Halloween celebration for Filipino K-fans last October 29 at the Mall of Asia Arena. The Halloween party was headlined by CL and supported by many acts including P-POP boy-group BGYO, legends EPIK HIGH, and K-Pop acts including Pentagon, KARD, GAHO X KAVE. It also featured Filipino drag queens Minty Fresh, Lady Morgana, and Lady Gagita. The night was capped off with a DJ set from DJ Soda. Here are five reasons why we think this is the next place-to-be for future Halloween celebrations.

The Spooky Vibe is Felt All Around The Arena

The storm did not stop fans from feeling the Halloween vibe around the MOA Arena as horror installations including a “Haunted Tunnel” welcomed fans in the venue! Plus, zombies were scattered around the arena to scare off people that were in for the thrill! Indeed, Hallyuween 2022 was felt by everyone!

Fans Played Dress-Up!

As it was a Halloween party, participants surely did not disappoint! Many people came to dress up as their favorite movie characters, horror characters, K-idols, and more! Plus, they got CL herself to announce winners of the Best Dressed individuals! Definitely a treat aside from watching the concert!

The Line Up of Performers was Hallyuween-fied!

Fans definitely felt the hype about Hallyuween the minute the lineup was announced by Pulp Live World! It included CL, EPIK HIGH, PENTAGON, KARD, DJ Soda, and BGYO! A few days before the concert, local drag queens Minty Fresh, Lady Gagita, and Lady Morgana were added to the roster! Most, if not all, showed up in their own costumes as well to celebrate Halloween with their Filipino audience! KARD dressed up as a skeleton, pirate, catwoman, and a vampire! Moreover, Pentagon showed up in their own Halloween make up including Harry Potter, Harley Quinn, and more! Plus, CL arrived at the arena as Cruella!

Filipino Acts Were Given Time To Shine

What we also really loved about Hallyuween is that Filipino acts were also featured! Filipino drag queens from Drag Race Philippines Minty Fresh and Lady Morgana all graced the stage with performances of “Break Free” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Plus, Gaga and Katy-recognized impersonator Lady Gagita also brought Lady Gaga’s iconic “Paparazzi” VMA performance to the MOA Arena stage! Fans were left in awe after the spooktacular lip sync performances!

Iconic K-Idols and Performers Gave Us A Good Time!

The best part of the night was dancing around with the music of our K-idols! GAHO X Kave opened the show after Filipino drag queens and transported us back to our favorite K-Dramas! Fans were in for a treat as they heard “Running,” the OST of Start Up as well as “Start” from Itaewon Class! PENTAGON performed fan favorites including “Feelin’ Like,” “Beautiful Goodbye,” and “Shine”. KARD brought in the heat with fiery performances of their hits including "Ring The Alarm," "Bomb Bomb," "Red Moon," and "Dumb Litty". J.Seph even teased their Hidden KARDs by taking off his coat from his costume! EPIK HIGH definitely brought more energy in the house as they hyped the crowd with their songs! Their performance included "No Thanxxx," "Born Hater," "Don't Hate Me," and more!

The festival was headlined by the baddest CL, who performed the longest next to DJ Soda's set. The queen performed her hits including "Spicy," "HWA," "Chuck," "Hello B*tches," to name a few. The rapper also couldn't believe the loud karaoke-like chant during "Lover Like Me" brought by her GZBs.

The night was capped off by DJ Soda, who performed a hyped set for people who wanted to dance all night! Dressed in her Spiderwoman costume, the DJ perfectly ended the night with fan favorite songs and beats!
